Job Summary
The ideal applicant will be in charge of leading and supervising the metal department. Read blueprints and drawings and take or read measurements to plan layout and procedures.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare technical drawing based on cad file/3d images from design team,
- Prepare accurate materials request based on drawing.
- Explain technical details to fabricator/team leader.
- Maintain project design information in a neat, organized manner per current procedures / standards.
- Attend Project and Design review meetings to document and implement required modifications.
- Participate in design/Qc inspections on assembled units to ensure compliance and accuracy of final design.
- Other duties as required by production manager/co ordinations.
- Double-checking design specifications before commencing with cutting work.
- Test and inspect welded surfaces and structure to discover flaws.
- Read blueprints and drawings and take or read measurements to plan layout and procedures.
- Performing quality checks on completed products.
Job Skills and Qualification
- Specify appropriate fits and tolerances according to manufacturing process and/or design requirements on top of that will and skill (i.e. polishing, right angle, sizes accuracy, material thickness CNC plate cutting, sheet metal bending, etc.)
- Working knowledge of strength of materials
- Fit out / Metal industry experience is a MUST.
- Can provide timely technical assistance and solutions to the team.

- Preferably ITI with working knowledge of English to read, write & understand the drawings.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
